plex media server synology dsm 7.0 download

what this error message sounds like to me is, this spk file should be installed on a NAS, and not on my PC, which i totally understand, but thats why im back to square one, cuz i thought i already have it installed on my NAS? so wtf is going on? i tried watching youtube tutorials on this process, but couldnt find anything useful, cuz it seems they all migrated from earlier versions of DSM to 7.0, so its already recognized on the sidebar, theres no '+your media' option for them.Īnybody have any ideas what to do? any help is apprecaited! it says 'get plex media server', which, i dont really understand, i thought i already have it? so i follow thru with that, i click on that button, and it takes me outside of my server page, to plex's own website, specifically:, and then from here, i tried to download the server again, i choose DSM 7.0 -> intel 64-bit cuz thats what ds22+ has, and once its downloaded, i tried to open it, it doesnt let me. i log out, re log back in, then its good, and i go to +your media tab, and thats where im stuck. So this is the first time im using plex and a NAS, i have synology DS22+ on DSM 7.0, i have installed plex media server on the NAS itself, then when i run it, it opens a new tab, i see the infamous no soup / no access to this server message.
